This final essay of the year is a meditation on the choices we make when life puts us at a crossroads. It begins with a note to my readers—how could it not?
Have read your on and off year...They are very poignant...This one really struck a chord, especially when you write about the so called "easy decisions"...Hope to read essays by you in the upcoming year as well 😊
Hi Prakriti, not a regular on Substack yet but an aspiring one. I have read your essays for most of the second half of the year and this one, the last one, will just stay. I read it last night and slept with the thought, I wanted this thought of the easy way to marinate. Perhaps the easier route is the one we will be able to make peace with. I want to take notes from this essay itself :) I re-watched Dear Zindagi just two weeks back. I am in Bangalore so I was wondering if you get further details of your book club. Keep writing, you are a writer :)
